About Blue River Bandits
Our Story
Founded by Randy Haire (father to Lauren Spring of The Krickets) and Oscar Diaz in 2022. After long and successful professional careers in the medical field, both Randy and Oscar decided to rekindle their love for music.
Randy played professionally in the mid-60-70s. Started his music career with American Bandstand on ABC Television. After AB, he played the music circuits in the Southeast with Zero's Folley, Miller Brewing Allstars and The Teen Sensations. Oscar played professionally in the mid-sixties in Arizona-Nevada with the Spiders, Fandango and Mile End.
Other founders include Cletus Heaps and Mike Quealy.
Recently, Candy Baird joined the band playing bass, key board and vocals. Candy sang with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra while studying medicine and began playing guitar in the 90s. She has played various venues from Atlanta to more recent in Port St Joe.
